MEET THE TEAM
Paul Mc Grory Managing Director
With 25 years in the industry, I think it's fair to say that I’m passionate about providing excellent customer service. For me, it’s fundamental that we not only give a first class service but we also get the best possible price for our customers, and that it's right for their needs.
The system we use enables us to find the best prices and to deliver. Which is why we at Madoc and Rhodes can keep our promise to clients. My spare time is dedicated to my family, holidays, and keeping myself fit by doing cycling and running.
Ian Marley Senior Insurance Advisor
As a senior advisor with over 30 years’ experience, my job is to get people great deals and give service that’s courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and counts for the customer. All of these aspects of my role are necessary and essential in order for Madoc & Rhodes to retain existing customers and attract new ones.
Outside of work, I’m a keen cricket player and I'm Secretary of a local cricket club. As well as the cricket, I'm also an avid American Football fan.
Steve Lewis Senior Insurance Advisor
For me, it's about making sure every customer receives the same high-level service.
As a senior advisor, with many years of experience in the insurance market, I’m always keen to tell people about how great Madoc & Rhodes is, and how we help people across the board with their different insurance needs.
I really enjoy my job and the people I work with - it makes such a difference and makes Monday mornings less daunting knowing you'll be coming into work with a good team. When I’m not working I enjoy the occasional game of badminton, not sure how good I am at it though!
Emma Hanson Broker Manager
I've worked in the insurance industry for a long time and joined the family, as I like to refer to Madoc & Rhodes, as that’s how it feels working here, in 2001.
Before this, I worked in a call centre which was nowhere near as satisfying as working here with a motivated team who deliver excellent customer service.
I really enjoy working with people and getting the best deal for them, it's great when you make a customer's day by exceeding their expectation of value for money. When I am not at work, it’s all about being a fabulous mom to my two daughters and spending time with my friends and family.
Colin Smith Senior Insurance Advisor
I really enjoy working at Madoc & Rhodes and that’s because the team supports our customers 100%. This is what makes the company and gives it the edge over other insurance brokers. It's because we're so focused on our customers’ needs.
With over 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry, I draw on my knowledge to assist customers and get them the best deal possible.
When I'm not at work, I can be found enjoying my favourite tipple Jack Daniels, while relaxing and listening to a band called the Bare Naked Ladies. I'm also really like listening to a band called Ezio - they're brilliant!
Dean Jones Insurance Advisor
With over 20 years’ experience in the field, it's strange to think that I started here as an apprentice all those years ago - where has the time gone? But what I can say is, by learning the ropes from the bottom up I know the ins and outs of the insurance market, and I know how to get the best outcome for people.
One of the great things about the job is the friendly banter with customers and my colleagues, which I’m sure this helps to contribute to the success of Madoc & Rhodes.
Out of work you’ll find me at the Kop End as I’m an avid Blues supporter - the best team in the West Midlands without a doubt. And if I’m not there you’ll find me at a darts match.
Janet Cassidy Senior Administration Officer
Janet joined Madoc & Rhodes in 2012, bringing with her over 25 years’ experience in an Insurance Broking environment. She enjoys working mainly behind the scenes making sure the day-to-day running of the office goes smoothly by ensuring all the documents, letters and reminders are sent out and the bills are paid on time.
Outside of work, apart from spending time with family and friends, Janet is a “football widow” to her husband and sons, who spend many hours following football as season ticket holders as well as watching games on the television. This she doesn’t mind, however, as it gives her plenty of time to work on what she calls her beautiful garden.
